An intriguing quote that reflects the high level of astronomical understanding of the ancients:

The Mystery Madame Manon Darlaine

It was a small entry in an unexpected place. Searching through a Project Blue Book casefile there was an issue of "SAUCER NEWS". It was a special edition dated March 1965. The lead story was an entry about the death of a woman who had been deeply engaged in investigating the unexplained from one end of the spectrum to another. She was MADAME MANON DARLAINE, born in France and apparently living in the United States at her death. She was "keenly interested in the mysterious goings on in the Los Angeles area in the early 1950's, notably the disappearances of saucer researchers MUNRATH and WILKERSON." Other sources indicate the name of the first man should be Hunreth or Hunrath.

Both men were deeply into the contactee movement and believed that people from elsewhere were coming to earth.  They charted an airplane to fly to an alleged landing site and were never seen again. For more on their story see Hunrath and Wilkinson (ufobc.ca)

Manon Darlaine, she remains a bit of a mystery...but the search goes on.
