Did small beings visit a Kansas community? Did a strange object hover over a backyard? Was the mysterious scar an indication of being part of a "catch and release" program of visitors to this world? What accounts for the missing time experienced?
These are some of the questions the author worked through trying to find answers to the mysterious of what she has termed "amber memories"; odd memories frozen in a bizarre manner that seemed to hint that something - something strange and mysterious - may have happened.
This is one of many attempts to convey the experience of the "red light in the night" I experienced as a child in Wellington, Kansas. I was directly beneath but could see the weirdly lighted areas and the darker night all around.
