Several times in Oklahoma history, UFO's followed that idea as they traveled over Oklahoma skies. In the 1960's they followed the corridor of northeast route 66 around Sapulpa, Cushing, Bristow, and Tulsa.
I share some of these in my book "SOONER SAUCERS" (see link on sidebar). A visit to the museum of the Route in Clinton, Oklahoma found a newspaper article and photo about UFO's. A treat!
